Alex C I liked it, great mix of dark comedy with gorefest horror. I think it could have been better but overall a good film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/24/23 Full Review Ernest B The notion that this belongs on a "top 200 horror movies of all time" list is a profound indictment of RT's methodology. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/13/23 Full Review Emilliano S From Richard Parker to Even Steven, it was a sick and entertaining boat ride. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/28/23 Full Review isla s In terms of a gross out, bloody violent horror thriller film, this isn't bad. It keeps you guessing and there are some shocks and suddent action to take you by surprise. Its not constant or excessively over the top but what bloody violence there is, its pretty gory...think blood, self harm. There's some narration telling the viewer about supposed bad luck relating to historical events and pop culture. I don't know how accurate it is but its kind of interesting. Not the most original of this sort of film, its not the best but not the worst, if you know what I mean. You may feel the ending to be a bit disappointing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Unexpected surprise i really enjoyed this movie even if i dont usually like movies happening in 1 location... the actress should stop the plastic surgery she looks like Nicole kdmn and she is young... overall great movie such a good time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member What the hell is up with this ****ing damned ****?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jason Bailey New York Times "Harpoon" offers stylish compositions, amusing running gags and sharp, snappy dialogue. It's a sparse, nasty little thriller. Nov 7, 2019 Full Review Barry Hertz Globe and Mail Grant adds lots of fisticuffs and gore to the proceedings, but it's Gelman's voice that answer's the narrative's numerous SOS calls. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 11, 2019 Full Review Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I was impressed by [director] Rob Grant's ability to accomplish a lot with a little and in a very confined space. Oct 8, 2019 Full Review Q.V. Hough Vague Visages Rob Grant's Harpoon exudes all the sly confidence of a well-prepared and half-in-the-bag wedding table orator. Feb 18, 2022 Full Review Lindsay Traves Nightmarish Conjurings The most gruesome version of a bottle episode I've ever seen. Feb 17, 2021 Full Review Alix Turner Ready Steady Cut A black comedy horror from Rob Grant. More polished than last year's Alive, but with some forgivable flaws.
