"Harpoon" offers stylish compositions, amusing running gags and sharp, snappy dialogue. It's a sparse, nasty little thriller. Go to Full Review

Grant adds lots of fisticuffs and gore to the proceedings, but it's Gelman's voice that answer's the narrative's numerous SOS calls. Go to Full Review

I was impressed by [director] Rob Grant's ability to accomplish a lot with a little and in a very confined space. Go to Full Review

Rob Grant's Harpoon exudes all the sly confidence of a well-prepared and half-in-the-bag wedding table orator. Go to Full Review

A black comedy horror from Rob Grant. More polished than last year's Alive, but with some forgivable flaws. Go to Full Review

Madde G. @MaddeG88 Oct 26 Pretty predictable, the ending was good though. See more m s May 5 Critics think this is a better movie than Fight Club. This isn't a better movie than Wild Things (Kevin Bacon and gang). It's a played-out premise of friends turning on each other. There is nothing to salvage it. The water is pretty, but not explored AT ALL. There is NO horror, and VERY mild "gore". The ending is dumb. None of the characters are likable or worth rooting for. The only saving grace is the relatively short run time. See more RZ u Apr 20 Had a great time watching this! It was the perfect horror/black comedy combo without unintentionally being like "Scary Movie" levels of absurdity. The thriller element was on point too - I did not foresee the ending. See more Alex C 09/24/2023 I liked it, great mix of dark comedy with gorefest horror. I think it could have been better but overall a good film. See more Ernest B 08/13/2023 The notion that this belongs on a "top 200 horror movies of all time" list is a profound indictment of RT's methodology. See more Emilliano S 05/28/2023 From Richard Parker to Even Steven, it was a sick and entertaining boat ride. See more Read all reviews
