Audience Member The whole time I was watching this I kept thinking I had seen this before. It seemed like a typical formula movie. B movie quality with acceptable acting except for Hinano Yoshikawa. She was awful!! It was just painful to watch her. While it is a short film, it is not worth the investment to watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't see the point of watching this movie, as a matter of fact I don't see the point of why this movie was ever made in the first place. It's like staring into the abyss, there's nothing there. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A real piece of garbage, Haunted Highway didn't seem to know what it wanted to be. Essentially, the film desires to be a bottle film that follows one character's late-night, post-murder drive with the body in the trunk of the car. Of course, he becomes haunted by memories of the past as well as ghosts that seem to exist in his present. The film fails completely because it is never creepy, compelling, or even dramatic--it is just boring as hell from beginning to end. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The first film I ever worked on ... the poster will always be on my wall. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Yet again, another low-budget,straight-to-dvd horror movies that is full of cliches. Haunted Highway is a boring mess. The dialogue is extremely boring and hardly any suspense while the acting is all to dumb. It does really have that,"oooooooooooh,"or,"awwwwwwwww." It.s mostly filled with over the top situations that are not so great. And when it wants to be scary it can't really pull it off. The film work good as just another boring and average film.2.1/10 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Ok I have mixed feelings about this movie. First lets start with Rand Gamble. He did a great job as the main character. You can gradually get creeper and creeper. So yeah he was decent. Now Laura Putney was ok. She was not a creepy ghost and she had this one laugh that totally ruined the movie. A lot of directors think you can put an asian girl in a horror film and she can be a scary ghost. Well, only if you do it right. Hinano Yoshikawa was not that good. She could hardly speak english. The story was really creepy. But if it was done right, it could of been VERY creepy. Some of the sound effects at night had too much volume and sounded horrible. The music was ok though. So overall, it was decent thanks to some creepiness and some acting.
