The movie started out with an intriguing premise and a cast of somewhat likeable characters but slowly devolved into a confusing aftermath. The story did not try to explaining the plot, leaving the viewer to question what the heck they were watching in the first place. The story of Celeste ship would have made a good horror film but the execution was not there.

Loved the eerie world created by Shana Betz especially a film set at sea. The acting was solid. Emily Swallows is definitely a leading lady and Richard Roundtree subtle performance is fun to watch. His character serves as the audience's point of view and we are with him the entire time.
