authentic portrayal of what really happens to good people from the holler who lack opportunities. a movie about kentucky that does not play into the stereotypes, but shows complex characters.

Tough film to watch. If you can make it through till the end, be sure to watch the end credits to hear the real life stories of people sharing their experiences about addiction, sobriety and survival. Man this film feels so real.
