Angie Han Slashfilm Headshot stops somewhere short of mind-blowing, especially if you've seen Uwais in action before, but it's another thoroughly satisfying showcase for his talents. Rated: 8/10 Jun 13, 2017 Full Review Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times the story can't sustain the bloated running time and the ongoing, gratuitous violence. It's not the best showcase for Uwais' skills when he's bringing his fists to a gunfight. Mar 6, 2017 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) The title gives just a hint of the full extent of cranial damage crammed into this dizzyingly relentless action movie. Rated: 4/5 Mar 5, 2017 Full Review Howard Gorman NME (New Musical Express) Long-time fans expected a gleefully violent ride - which they got - but what no one was expecting was for them to take to the frenetic action genre like ducks to water, producing one of the decade's most brutal action movies. Jun 10, 2021 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis easternKicks.com Headshot is a martial arts film as it should be, fast, violent, and featuring impressive action scenes. Definitely not for the faint hearted, though. Jul 26, 2020 Full Review Brent McKnight The Last Thing I See An angry movie, Headshot seethes with rage. Brutal, graphic violence and visceral, legitimately stomach-churning savagery abound. Jul 2, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Gaming N i am the #1 iko uwais fan so i enjoyed this still Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Ryan S Not too bad but I like martial arts movies. Most certainly not for anyone who wants any depth in the story line. Perhaps I wasn't concentrating hard enough, but I think it was pretty much just a load of ultra violent fight scenes losely sewn together buy the text book avenging/saving my family story line. Can't see what more you'd really want from a this type of movie though. Easy watch, once you get past wincing at the brutality of it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Iko uwais é o melhor ator em artes macias do mundo Não estão preparados pra isso Esse filme é mais um na lista dos melhores filmes dele Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A cliché story coupled with poorly directed fight scenes make for a forgettable film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member A bloody brilliant movie. Iko on top form and amazing camerawork. Thrills, blood spills and evil doers abound. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review dave j Written and directed by Timo Tjahjanto the opening has ruthless arms dealer Lee (Sunny Pang) escaping state prison with several prisoners and guards dead. Meanwhile, an unidentified man, (Iko Uwais) is found unconsious by an isolated fisherman who lives in a hut along a beach he is then cared for by that friend who happens to be a nurse, Ailin (Chelsea Islan). By the time the character Iko Uwais is woken up from his coma, it is soon discovered he had lost his memory for the only thing he remembers is the girl who shot right at his head. Because he has no memory of who he is Ailin the nurse then calls him Ishmael until then his past catches up to him, which regards him along with some missing children.
