Headshot stops somewhere short of mind-blowing, especially if you've seen Uwais in action before, but it's another thoroughly satisfying showcase for his talents. Go to Full Review

the story can't sustain the bloated running time and the ongoing, gratuitous violence. It's not the best showcase for Uwais' skills when he's bringing his fists to a gunfight. Go to Full Review

The title gives just a hint of the full extent of cranial damage crammed into this dizzyingly relentless action movie. Go to Full Review

Long-time fans expected a gleefully violent ride - which they got - but what no one was expecting was for them to take to the frenetic action genre like ducks to water, producing one of the decade's most brutal action movies. Go to Full Review

Headshot is a martial arts film as it should be, fast, violent, and featuring impressive action scenes. Definitely not for the faint hearted, though. Go to Full Review

An angry movie, Headshot seethes with rage. Brutal, graphic violence and visceral, legitimately stomach-churning savagery abound. Go to Full Review

Daniel C. M Feb 23 Definetely the weakest one in "ultra-violent martial arts movie featuring Iko Uwais" movie cycle. 1st act was ok, 2nd was great, 3rd was meh. The beginning drama kinda works but it goes on for way too long, the action starts off great, the fight scene in the police station is actually near-perfect and one of my favorites, but it quickly devolves as the protagonist "grows", getting very repetitive and into the generic martial arts move territory. It does have a few more worthwhile action scenes, but really nothing you just couldn't search on youtube. Direction is great, though the cinematography is weird and inconsistent; sometimes it looks like the characters have Jaundice. See more Calvin O Jan 6 There are surely top notch fighting scenes with our infinite stamina protagonist. It might be physically impossible but well he is the man, again there is nothing wrong about this. The only thing I can't stand was the gun fight. I mean adding gun fights in action movie is actually good but everyone just have no sense of aiming and no one realize that they can kill enemy without have to point the gun right on the face. And there was even a moment where a grenade can launch a person to the air but it can't even break a glass window. See more Jonah K 07/31/2024 one of the top recommendations for movies similar to The Raid, yet somehow not even close to being as good. i hate comparing movies to other movies in a review, but it’s very hard not to in this case. just goes to show how important camerawork is alongside the choreography. See more Gaming N 02/21/2024 i am the #1 iko uwais fan so i enjoyed this still See more Ryan S 03/28/2023 Not too bad but I like martial arts movies. Most certainly not for anyone who wants any depth in the story line. Perhaps I wasn't concentrating hard enough, but I think it was pretty much just a load of ultra violent fight scenes losely sewn together buy the text book avenging/saving my family story line. Can't see what more you'd really want from a this type of movie though. Easy watch, once you get past wincing at the brutality of it.
