A tender, sweet and fortifying portrayal of queer teenage love, and advocates for a version of the world in which that is unquestioned. Go to Full Review

It's [Oseman's] story to end, and in choosing to uphold its sensationalimagining of the world as it could be, “Heartstopper Forever” doubles down on the idea that we can make it the way that it should be. Go to Full Review

Following the same contours as the beloved TV series, this film caps off Nick and Charlie's high school years to tell a coming-of-age story while remaining sweet and gentle. Go to Full Review

Laura F @russellbustle 2d “Heartstopper Forever’s” big question: can teenage romances and friendships survive the significant life changes hardwired into adolescence? “H.F.” gives hopeful indicators in believable ways. But it doesn’t duck the central difficult realities. Like Nick’s freshman year at a university four hours away. That distance rattles both Nick and Charlie (the latter has one more year of high school to complete). Each has a deep yen to protect and help the other. But how will even judicious taking care be possible? And what about the inevitable collisions with other attractive guys? The long-term couple briefly breaks up, as other friend and romantic pairings in their group struggle with new needs of their own. Charlie’s mother understands. And her question challenges her son and his boyfriend: why break up before the relationship is over? The lovers, played with both depth and wit by Joe Locke (Charlie) and Kit Connor (Nick), begin to imagine a future. So do we. See more Francesca C @RT69282333 Aug 24 I like heartstopper and respect the difference in vibes from other soppy movies but I just feel like this was a long episode and there was no real story going on just a whole lot of nothing See more Lila H @RT678905342550 Aug 23 A great ending. 😀 👏 See more Katie W @katiekat22 Aug 15 I have to give it 4 starts because it's Heartstopper goddamn it! and I support all queer media. I love alice oseman's work to my death. but honestly the quality in the show dropped off after season 2. charlie and nick look like grown men in this movie even though they are supposedly 18 & 19? it also is just a bit too serious for me. heartstopper finds it's strength's in queer joy, and those moments were good and still made me cry. however, some of the dialogue in this movie seems forced and unnatural, and condensing things into a movie made certain characters and storylines (like isaac, imogen, and tau & elle cut short). Seasons 1 & 2 will go down as legendary queer TV for decades to come, but after that you can kind of take or leave the show. See more Wren A @RT82216474 Aug 13 The movie was a very good rap for the series. And I cower , everything in the end , pretty much worked out and I love how there was more drama in the movie than there was in the brook it had like a better build up and more suspense. The only thing I didn't like was the 3rd time the had sex it was...intense 😅 See more Read all reviews
