Audience Member Packed to the brim with shootouts, car chases, and other standard action fare, Helios features Jacky Cheung, who turns in a masterful performance and steals the show. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member As a trailer, 10 million profit is good enough.... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review mark c The screenplay must have been written by a 12 year old. One of the absolute worst films I have seen in my life. Can't wait till you watch it and prove me wrong. Yes, watch it. Please? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Lok Man Leung brings collaboration to Helios. Falling in at just short of 2 hours, the story has its ups and downs. At times the sense of mystery and thrills take control, while at others, the story finds itself dragging on. The plethora of characters help to keep things from getting stale; however, not all of them get enough build up to become nicely meshed with the story-line. The action pieces get points for the shootings and weaponry, despite lacking in abundance compared to the dialogue driven scenes. The recognizable cast help with some of the weak characters. Jacky Cheung and Nick Cheung are the notable standouts. Chen Chang and Janice Man are quite heinous, but lack sufficient dialogue. Helios lives up as a Hong Kong crime thriller. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Mega power collaboration between South Korea, China and Hong Kong with encapsulating the top and veteran lead actors from each country. It goes without a doubt that the acting were spot on for them, but a clear difference is seen with the second liners who often miss the spot to some point makes the scenes with them unbearable. While the action and stunts were great, the dialogues were horrible and at some point corny. As for the storyline that seems choppy and loosely linked, this can only be concluded in the obvious part 2 (given the abrupt ending with stay tune message), which will make and break the entire storyline of the movie. And honestly, the part 2 itself have a lot to fill. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
