Aaron Phillips But Why Tho? A Geek Community [Hell Dogs] is brutal, savage, and it also captures an unexpected level of intimacy through found family. Fintan S Great Film, slightly reliant on a great performance by the lead actor but overall not a bad plot, maybe a little bit too long but the ending makes up for it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Chiranjeevi s It's a gripping movie from the beginning till the end. The story is about a generic undercover cop but there are some great surprising moments. Screenplay takes the spotlight being well written, which makes it interesting. It's has some great action and revolves around the new age Japan mafia which also include some light heart moments. It's not only fun to watch but also keeps you stuck to the screen without getting bored. The best part of the movie are the characters, they have really great characters which fit their respective roles very well. The climax was greatbbut personally I last shot right before the flashback could have been made much better. Overall a great watch, you should definitely watch if you like gangster movies or cop movies. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/02/23 Full Review Chen C Excellent filming and Editing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/23 Full Review tripti g Filled with action as an ex-police officer has to infiltrate a Yakuza organisation, he starts by befriending Hideki Murooka(Kentaro Sakaguchi) who is an unhinged character, so much so that even the yakuza can't control him. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Sam V good action and great actors 7.5/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Hell Dogs is a gripping crime drama about a damaged police office who goes undercover with the Yakuza and forms bonds with his crime family. There is a lot of Donnie Brasco in here. The acting is great. The action and the violence is top notch. The film's cast is very strong. The direction and cinematography is as good as anything you will find in Korea or Hollywood. The same with the fight choreography. The film's story has been told in different ways but this one is effective and engaging. I really found myself riveted from start finish. These film's walk in the gray area where there is a fine line between the good guys and the bad guys, but maybe that is more realistic. Japanese with English Subtitles.
