Amanda G 07/06/2021 Take Dawson's Creek melodrama, 90210's teenagers in their late 20s, and your favorite soap's maudlin storylines and mix them all together, then throw them onto the set of Mayberry, and you will get a rough amalgamation of what the production team behind HELL TOWN were trying to create. It's fun, it's funny, and it doesn't take itself too seriously, which is just the sort of refreshing content the horror genre needs these days. Let's binge-watch! I saw this at Colorado Horror Con/Halloween Film Festival (it won best picture!), and right from the beginning, the crowd was hooked. It's a hilarious film and every actor was spot on, delivering each line of dialogue with gusto, and the blood and gore FX are subdued, yet very realistic and well done.
