Hellfire is a quick watch that will keep you entertained from the first punch to the last explosion, even if you have seen it all before. Go to Full Review

Hellfire works just fine in its respect for the genre and classical sensibilities, but one longs to see an old talent like Florentine get back to the more filling meat and potatoes that elevated his films in the first place. Go to Full Review

A Western-shaped moral reckoning, executed with craft, patience, and a controlled burn that turns to true hellfire exactly when it should. Go to Full Review

A small town action thriller that tells a familiar story in a familiar setting about familiar characters facing a familiar dilemma. But (Stephen) Lang makes anything watchable. And supporting turns from Harvey Keitel and Dolph Lundgren add to the fun. Go to Full Review

Reliable DTV action director Isaac Florentine pulls off a couple of decent action sequences, but Lang is no Scott Adkins, and the combat is more rote than dynamic. Go to Full Review

Devotees of gritty DTV action cinema will find much to appreciate here, but outside of the most hardcore enthusiasts, this will likely be met with a shrug. Go to Full Review

Guillaume R @Guillaume171 7h To start, the movie properly breaks the record of the most numerous production logo displayed before the movie itself, 8 I think Which makes us anticipate quite a big production. Which is not the case. The film is quite average at all levels. The acting, especially the main villain and the story itself are very poor. The story, involving a kind of veteran walking along the road on its own, like a tramp, and not welcomed by the sheriff of a small rural village. Rings any bells ? Then villains show up, threat the population and the veteran, skilled by years of experience as Special Force, takes things personally. Dejà vu, dejà vu, one hundred of times. So nothing new here. It is a very cheap production and it shows : the scene of combat from the real war has been shoot in the neighbouring forest. I dont know why it is so cheap, despite 8 productions companies behind it and 2 famous actors. Probably the director was not too inspired and once again it shows badly. See more Brad C @bradchatellier 2d There are so many B-movies that I love. This one is absolutely terrible. What an awful waste of acting talent. AI could turn out a million better stories in the five minutes they used to write this. To top it off, this awful story is punctuated by the most ham handed fight scenes and choreography. There is literally nothing here worth seeing. See more Timothy E @Tnice17 3d Great movie love the storyline love the action. Stephen Lang love all his movies. I have become a big fan of his. I hope he continues to make good movie. Stephen Lang thank you. You always had me at the edge of my seat when I watch your movies. See more Merlin M @Alsgdkd 5d This movie was so cheeks every scene was so predictable and j called every scene what was gonna happen he missed every shot in the beginning until the end where he somehow made every single shot.Dont recommend watching it . The old man didn’t die somehow after getting beat to "death" but SOMEHOW he kills everyone and walks it off trash movie bro See more Walter W @Spongebath Feb 26 They had the chance to make a decent low budget B movie but ruined it with bad action scenes and a few illogical cast choices. Who ever choreographed the action scenes really needs a career change. Like when the protagonist is chased down a warehouse by 2 thugs in a drawn out cat and mouse chase was just ridiculous. The villains obsession with a 40+ old woman makes no sense. Really just dumb mistakes made by the director. See more Sam F @CharlesHarris Feb 25 Oh wow, this has got to be the absolute pinnacle of cinematic genius I've endured in years—the most brilliantly predictable, brain-meltingly stupid movie to grace my screen since... well, ever. I'm just deeply, profoundly disappointed that two absolute A-list legends actually lowered themselves to appear in this masterpiece. Stephen Lang and Harvey Keitel? What in the actual hell were they thinking? And poor, sweet Dolph Lundgren thrown in for good measure... really? Truly living the dream there, big guy. An hour and 35 minutes (or whatever that endless 254-minute fever dream felt like) of my precious life I'll never, ever get back. Bravo. Chef's kiss. Truly the gift that keeps on giving... nightmares. See more Read all reviews
