Hellfire works just fine in its respect for the genre and classical sensibilities, but one longs to see an old talent like Florentine get back to the more filling meat and potatoes that elevated his films in the first place.

A small town action thriller that tells a familiar story in a familiar setting about familiar characters facing a familiar dilemma. But (Stephen) Lang makes anything watchable. And supporting turns from Harvey Keitel and Dolph Lundgren add to the fun.

I genuinely like the actors in this movie, so I was hoping for something better. It's clear from the start that this is a B movie, and even going in with that expectation, it still turned out to be boring and lackluster. It's a predictable small-town revenge thriller that never really rises above the formula. I'd only recommend this one if you're specifically hunting for something you haven't seen yet and are going in with very low expectations.

The acting is some of the worst I have seen, my wife seemed to enjoy it so I couldn't turn it off. I couldn't wait for it to end.

This movie is very much in the same theme as Clint Eastwood's High Planes Drifter, but not as good. This could have been a really interesting story but it didnt happen, even so a fair movie
