Synopsis
This music documentary looks at the life and legend of singer and guitarist Robert Johnson, arguably the most important figure in the history of the blues. The film acknowledges the mysteries that remain about Johnson's life and addresses the tales that circulate about his all-too-brief career, most notably that he made a Faustian deal to achieve his talent. Musicians that nod to Johnson's legacy in their performances include R.L. Burnside, Keb' Mo' and Junior Kimbrough.
