Jay W Jul 11 Starting with the positives, the movie does not overstay its welcome, it is a sharp 97 minutes. It is also a very creative movie, in both the story and in the visuals. The animation style is fine, I'm not the biggest fan of the 2.5D animation style, but it isn't inherently bad. The downside is that some of that creativity comes at the expense of story comprehension. It feels like the movie is making up the rules of this world as it goes along. There is no way to grasp any tension in the story because there is no understanding of the logic of the world. Likewise, the way the story unfolds leads to some very... disturbing and questionable ramifications.
