Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News The clear standout and the reason we keep watching is James, who gives an electrifying and volatile performance, one that hopefully promises more roles in the future. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 14, 2022 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian Accidental viewers are not likely to stick with this unless they really want to know what happens to three or so thinly drawn characters locked in a psychodrama of suspicion, betrayal and unconvincingly faked lust. Rated: 1/5 Feb 7, 2022 Full Review Peter Gray This is Film Help is ultimately a frustrating product due to it being unable to finetune the fine ideas it peppers throughout. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 17, 2022 Full Review Federico Furzan Movie-Blogger.com Help is solid enough to make you want to stick to the end and solve whatever's happening in this strange encounter with friends. Rated: 3.8/5 Feb 16, 2022 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed This is one of those frustrating films as its clear there is something here, its just jumbled and made to please so many folx that it ends up not really hitting the mark. Audience Member A painful breakup sends Grace (Emily Redpath) to Liv (Sarah Alexandra Marks) and Edward's (Louis James) country manor. Before she even sets foot in their home, a neighbor (Blake Ridder, who also directed and wrote this) tries to warn her. But about what? Well, Grave and Edward aren't getting along too well. And Grade wonders, is it her fault? After all, she did sleep with Edwae the last time she was around them. And then she notices the bruises all over her friend. For a debut movie with three young actors and a director making his first full-length film, Help works way better than it has any right to. It's tense, it has some twists and it tells its story well.
