ricardo d Se era para ser um documentário, ficou dramático demais, se era para ser uma dramatização, ficou tão editado que todos os personagens são rasos e não causam afeição. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Good made for TV movie about Charles Manson and his "Family". It was released in 2004. It is anchored by a very strong performance from Jeremy Davies as Charles Manson. It gives you a nice look into the craziness of Manson and his followers. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review steve d Davis and DuVall are perfect for their roles and the story is really intense and the film well made. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Jeremy Davies' Charles Manson is so on point, this movie is worth watching just to see his performance. He's almost indistinguishable from the real Manson, from the voice, mannerisms, dialogue, and especially that famous, creepy gaze. Marguerite Moreau's Susan Atkins is also terrifying and pretty entertaining (if freaky) to watch. Because this was a TV adaptation, there are some elements that horror/crime drama fans might find a little underwhelming, but they do manage to fit in a fair amount of gore as well and psychological horror, so I'd say it's a pretty decent watch if you're interested in the subject. It's about as comprehensive a telling of the story as you're gonna get out of only ~2 hours. Those familiar with the story know there's a lot more to it, but you get most of the meatier bits out of this one. Recommended. (P.S. this is currently rentable on Amazon. RT, please update these details, thanks!) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Anyone who says movies were better back then needs to watch this schlock and then Spotlight or anything about OJ Simpson from 2016. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The best in depth depection of Charlie. Jeremy Davies did an excellent job although..... I don't have time to go into how much I know the facts and certain people of the "real" Charlie and the criticism of NOT REALLY being related to him, so therefor....I think he portrayed him just coming off a much too arrogant and cocky, I think he tried to put to much emphasis n being sly and slick, so forth. Overall though, as of yet. I see NO ONE toping his performance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
