Audience Member A fella that's been into the furniture business for 40 years is forced to shut down when IKEA is planting a big store few meters away from his own, in a little populated place somewhere in Norway. His wife dies in the same period. His son is messing up his life in Oslo. Well, Harold does not care anymore - he's getting drunk and drives of to Sweden to kidnap Ingvar Kamprad. This is a cool plot and the dark comedy shines trough - this is the perfect part for Bjørn Sundquist. It's like he plays himself, sadly he often gets this exact part, but it tend to work. Anyhow the rest of the cast is OK and the film is pretty enjoyable. I like the story of the girl he teams up with, she has her issues too, so they are quite a team. The film gave me a great deal of laughs, even if the entire Kamprad-thing is pretty stupid and way to easy at times. It reminds me a bit of Fargo and that's not a bad thing at all. Der Möbelhändler Harold hat einen übermächtigen Gegner, so dass seine Pleite nicht mehr abzuwenden ist. Niemand will mehr seine Plüschsessel kaufen! Harold steht allein in seinem Möbelhaus, will alles verbrennen. Doch er hat die Sprinkler-Anlage vergessen... So macht er sich auf nach Schweden, um den Ikea Gründer zu entführen und ihn für das Leid seiner Familie bezahlen zu lassen. Erstaunlicherweise will Regisseur Gunnar Vikene aber so richtig boshaft nicht werden. Sein Thema ist die Hilflosigkeit des Einzelnen. Und wie ist er so, der Ikea Gründer? Hager und kleinbürgerlich. Harold selbst ist auch kein besonderer Typ, weder witzig, noch schlagfertig. Ein typischer wortkarger, tumber Mann wie wir sie aus nordeuropäischen Komödien kennen. Her Er Harold ist zwar charmant, aber wenig bissig. Für Kinder, die schon alle "Nordkomödien" gesehen haben.
