      Reviews In World War II London, Yvonne Winter (Phyllis Calvert) is hospitalized after enduring a night bombing. While recovering, Yvonne is befriended by Norwegian pilot Nick (Richard Burton), and when both recuperate, they marry. Nick soon returns to duty and is shot down.
