Single mother Wang Tiemei relocates with her young daughter, Molly, seeking a fresh start. Her Story skillfully balances comedy and drama in this entertaining story about how a divorced mother and her bachelorette friend navigate various relationships. It's a movie about female empowerment that isn't preachy or sappy.

This is the BEST comedy, ever! Writing is incredible (and incredulous). Acting is top notch. (Chemistry between the three female leads is insane.) But it is a lot more than just comedy. It probes life from many different angles. It also lavishly explores how an apology can be delivered. (Not sure how much this translates in another language, though.) The world need to see this movie.
