Michael M Heroin(e) is an alternatingly sad and uplifting take on the massive public health crisis caused by the proliferation of opioids in this country. I wouldn't call it a particular standout in the documentary genre, but its empathy towards its subjects, both addicts and those fighting the crisis, is very much appreciated. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/06/21 Full Review Audience Member A total wakeup call into an epidemic. Heroes and one hero in particular spreading The Good News to help those struggling with addiction to heroin. Wildly effective. A good tool to show you that Jesus is our only hope to rescue you from heroin addiction, any other addiction, and Jesus is our only hope to rescue us in general. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Of all the powerful emotions that this documentary provides, the admiration for these ladies takes a hopeful precedence.
