Although there does seem to be some visual influence from the movie Se7en (it even uses an identical music cue) this is a very interesting tale that slowly builds in a strong human element and has a good mix of action and passion without the usual cliches. The director of photography should have got an Oscar for this feature - I have seen award winning Hollywood pictures that don't look anywhere near as stylish and interesting as this.
