Audience Member Despite what people said i think this movie was amazing and the others are impatient and don't see the vision.Jenny Boyd was AMAZING at the acting parts per usual i would love to see her in more stuff.This movie may not be for everyone but it definitely was for me! Y aunque esta propone visualmente y hasta actoralmente más que el resto de miles de cintas de terror de bajo presupuesto de streaming, sigue teniendo los mismos vicios que vemos una y otra vez. A mí la verdad me gusta ver intencionalmente malas películas porque no necesitas prestar mucha atención y la mayoría, a pesar de lo malas que son narrativamente, normalmente casi siempre llegan a ser mínimamente disfrutables. Al no tener a los estudios pisándoles los talones con cada decisión creativa, llegan a sorprender de una forma u otra, y esta película es justamente eso. Visualmente, la película tiene la calidad de un video musical EDM del mismo año en que fue concebida, y no lo digo como algo negativo, le da un toque fresco y único. Los planos aéreos de Camboya son muy bonitos, y el foco tiene una paleta de colores muy bien lograda. Sí, no es de la calidad de una cinta de terror de gran presupuesto, pero siento que sí logra hacer que, al menos en ese aspecto, sea agradable de ver. Para mí, donde se cae la película es en lo poco expositivo del relato: el argumento es interesante, un ente que, al igual que el protagonista, desconocemos y conforme avance la película sabremos más de lo que los está acechando. Pero la película es tan, pero tan plana que terminas por perder el interés; teniendo como eje narrativo el cómo nos desconectamos de cualquier decisión lógica por la fantasía sexual que hace que actuemos bajo nuestros instintos más básicos. La película Intenta formar toda la historia para llegar a un clímax con un plot twist que, aunque sí logra ser interesante, la película lo estructuró tan mal que no termina por ser impactante. Y la misma película es tan consciente de ello que justamente tienen que introducir un flashback para intentar darle sentido y cierre. La película, honestamente, sí llega a funcionar como un “terror erótico”. Los protagonistas son muy atractivos, las escenas íntimas son muy buenas y no se sienten gratuitas dentro de la misma trama; y en general la película funciona muy bien en pro de crear estos momentos. Pero más allá de ello, honestamente no hay nada más. La película intenta ser contemplativa, pero al no desarrollar nada a pesar de su corta duración es muy aburrida, quedándose en una burda muestra visualmente muy atractiva, pero argumentalmente vacía. The main characters were not ready at all and if you want to make porn at least be real with it since it does not require lots of acting nor communication at all. The whole movie is filled with sex and sex from start to end and when you pay attention to the man acting as the boyfriend "what a joke!" Just lame and so unprofessional. He barely acted compared to the girl possessed in the movie. That was a waste of time. I guess the 2 stars and Half is just for the time spent making the movie and spending the money for the production. I guess I was fooled believing it will be a good show.
