When all the gags are played out, you get the sense that there is, in fact, a community of artists ready to tell their stories. All they need is a project to coalesce around. Go to Full Review

Come for the laughs and the sheer lack of vanity that charges Lightning’s performance. Just don’t expect things to dig much deeper than buttcrack depth. Go to Full Review

For what it’s worth, this film is a 100-minute rumination of what it really means to grow up. Go to Full Review

Make no mistake, this is a comedy, first and foremost, and a raunchy one at that, but as it works its way to the end, it careens through a dysfunctional journey of self-discovery. Go to Full Review

Hey, Viktor! is the rare example of a film that’s both lowbrow in spirit and execution and unquestionably pure of heart. Go to Full Review

Really F @RT97574151 Jul 1 I highly recommend this movie. I found out about it completely by accident. I have always been a fan of Cody Lightning but I admit that I hadn't kept up on much of his work in the past several years so I was glad that I heard about and saw this one. I will admit that what people say; that there's not always depth to the idea of the character himself like people expect, it's more surface level or at least most of the time it comes across that way because probably it's a comedy, seems true. I think you have to really relate to this type of story to really understand it. Even if fiction it's a very realistic image of what false self-esteem, self-destruction, self-sabotage and ultimately focusing on what you care about, what was always yours, what you can control when you can control nothing else or feel you can control nothing else, means in a world that tells you that you have to always be producing you always have to be proving your worth.
