Left-leaning documentary filmmakers Jeremy Earp and Sut Jhally present their case that the neo-conservative members of President George W. Bush's administration, including Vice-President Dick Cheney, saw in the 9/11 terrorist attacks an opportunity to force their ideological beliefs on a frightened nation. Interviews with leftist thinkers like Noam Chomsky, Michael Franti and Daniel Ellsberg buttress the central thesis that the Bush administration used the crisis for their own political ends.

The most outspoken and yet in some ways the calmest of the new documentaries opposing the Bush presidency. Go to Full Review

Although the positions are by now familiar, especially for those who have seen the previously released films on the subject, there's enough solid and persuasive analysis here to give this effort a fresh urgency. Go to Full Review

There's really nothing new here ... and lacking the drama and humor of Fahrenheit 9/11, it is even more likely to be preaching to the converted. Go to Full Review

Is there a direct connection between 9/11, the invasion of Iraq, Hitler, Gary Cooper, George Bush, shock and awe, condoms and toasters, shopping, and the fall of the Soviet Union? These filmmakers think so. Go to Full Review

An intellectually steelier case against Bush, his cabalistic administration and the Iraq war than Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11. Go to Full Review

06/07/2010 "Very politically informative, and eye-opening!" "Extraordinary" See more 04/24/2009 An excellent documentary. I would give it six stars if i could. At first i was unsure when i first started watching it, but it turned out to be a very enlightening and i feel important film. Incase people are misled by the film poster this film is not specifically about 9/11 or 9/11 conspiracies as such, like the film Loose Change. This film is a thoughtful analysis of American neo-conservatism and its desire to spread American hegemony through military might. How the attacks on 9/11 have been used as justification to advance an agressive foreign policy and the erroding of civil liberties and the use of propaganda and media manipulation to achieve such goals. I implore people to just give up an hour of their time to watch this film and deicde for themselves before just dismissing it. This film isn't some crack-pot conspiracy film with half-baked theories and unjustifiable statements. This is an educational and somewhat frightening expose' of what is really going on.
