StephenPaul C The greatest 01 hour: and 21 minutes based on the true story about the Korean War!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Michael Caine plays only a small part in his first film, with mainly a silent brief, but he features throughout given it's a situation war film. There's a plethora of British talent in here, most of whom have not made it to the peak of their stardom, nevertheless you can see why they all made it big given it's a strong story of adversity that slightly flies the Union Jack a little too much, although it is a critic of conflict at the same time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Have you ever been to Surrey? Obviously not. This movie was shot on location in Portugal (not in England!). Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Quite a good film. Showing how important the national serviceman was in the British army. Michael Caine makes his debut (he had served in Korea). Even gets a line to speak! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member good actioner provides the british take on the 60 year old conflict Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine With a gratifying minimum of both ultra-heroics and matey service humor, this British war drama absorbingly recreates the minuteby-minute ordeal of a small patrol trapped by the enemy in Korea. The non-celebrity cast does its work with unassuming skill. Jan 8, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews
