This David-Goliath fight, between an ‘aam aadmi’ and a ‘filthy rich capitalist’, has a couple of characters who turn up only for unfunny laughs, a neta (Manu Rishi) who only wants to count his crores, and a lead pair let down by the general proceedings. Go to Full Review

While ‘Hisaab Barabar’ deserves credit for highlighting a relevant social issue, it falters in its storytelling and execution. Go to Full Review

The plot is nothing but a battle between good and evil and how good triumphs over evil. But it’s so lifeless and lunatic, you spend most of your time writing an inconsequential review of an inconsequential film. Go to Full Review
Shilajit Mitra The Hindu Feb 7

Mirza M @mirzabaig890 Jan 27 'Hisaab Barabar' is an underwhelming experience that fails to capitalize on its potential and promising concept. See more Jan 25 Ashwini Dhar's Hisaab Barabar is a perfect example of honest intentions but skewed storytelling. The movie attempts to tackle financial frauds through the character of a honest ticket collector played wonderfully by R Madhavan. R Madhavan delivers a fine job blending both determination and vulnerability. He along with Niel Nitin Mukesh makes sure that the movie doesn't completely falls of rails. Niel Nitin Mukesh plays an over the top businessman bordering on being caricature still it's clear that the actor had a huge blast. He perfectly balances the menacing nature with some comedy.
