Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Purposely weird and terribly dull, full of brutal violence, horribly plain dialogue, gratuitous nudity from random busty extras, and pitiful special effects. Rated: 2/10 Nov 30, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Terrible, but worth watching at least once just to see what it's all about. There's an entertaining movie buried in here, but it's clear something went wrong when it was all put together. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Is this film mad genius? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member The Nagin is a Nature goddess who loses her lover, takes on human form, and travels to the city to retrieve him. The premise to this feature has such an enormous, tempting potential. For a creature feature, the story concept is very naturalistic to the point of invasive. The shot compositions and imagery are incredible. The big, glaring problems are that the post-production final cut really destroys any chance this has of being great. I mean between some scenes the word "interval" briefly appears. It's that bad. It's somewhere between being too avante garde and really sloppy. The editing is so teeth-grindingly bad, I think I popped a filling watching it. The scoring is so chopped it's jarring. And sometimes the music is widely disparate, between traditional flute or electric guitar. Unfortunately nothing here is so bad it's great. It's just some really amazing things with an utterly destructive post-production final cut. There're some fresh concepts in this movie. This shouldn't be considered completely down-for-the-count. The story has a naturalistic feel that's an integral part of the story. There are plenty of moments where it shows the story was really trying for something. There is characterization with legitimate subplots. While the color choices may be common for Indian festivals, the bright sunshine when the Nagin is at her strongest plays to the story and lets the audience feel first-hand encounters in the streets of the unknown Indian city. But this film went down for the count hard in the final cut. It went down hard and was trampled by a nandi bull. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member You don't need me to tell you how bad this film is. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member I have STILL no idea what I actually watched. Stupid, way too long, erotico-horror like (or at least it tries to) Pass. Definitely. Huge waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Just....bad. Crappy special effects complemented by an excess of gore, mostly mediocre-at-best acting jobs with one or two cases of overacting thrown in, and a script that simply begs for an incinerator. About the only good thing was the girl who actually played the snake goddess, because she spent the whole movie moving just like a snake on two legs (more impressive than I'm making it sound).
