I'm not sure why this movie gets so much hate. It's one of the best remakes I've seen in this seemingly endless sea of stale remakes. It's risky, fast paced, fun, gritty and violent. Edge of your seat thrills and action. Sean Bean plays one hell of a bad guy. The movie's pacing is so well done too.

The 2000s were marked with horror movie remakes of iconic titles, and while The Hitcher isn't on top of the list, the original is far better than its abysmal remake. This movie disregards all the unsettling elements that made the original effective and wastes the talent of Sean Bean on a killer who is hardly threatening, let alone dangerous.

Alright, since i just bought (and saw) the original which always been my favorite, decided to re-watch this thing that they dared called a remake, or a reimagining your choice. Point is, I do like Sean in pervious and since but this?? R.H. did it perfectly, why did it had to be messed with? Oh yeah right, the time that producer/director thought he could do every remake possible and get away with it, guess what, not in this one Mr. Bay!!

Quite literally the most irritating film I have ever seen from start to finish, not a noteworthy acting performance in the movie accept for Sean Bean I guess if he was told to be the most vexing character in existence, then he got it spot on. The whole thing is just incredibly unfeasible and impossibly ridiculous, thankfully its only an hour and 20 minutes or so, still an hour and 20 I wish I could get back
