Audience Member Poor quality video on a small format Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Eighties American TV movie following on the good streak of movies based on the subject of German Nazism. This one tells the story of the lives of two brothers and their rise and falls through the ranks of the S.S. The production is rushed and considerably limited in technical quality, but the quality of the initial idea and a well written screenplay make this one of the better surviving exponents of the trend. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member underrated and underplayed Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member odd to see all "german" characters with english and american accents. sort of played out like a lifetime television melodrama, but it was okay. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty good movie here... It gives us a nice view from the other side of the curtain, where young men were somehow swift off their feet with the enthusiasm that came with the rise of the Third Reich, and then the not so bright reality of it all as things got from bad to worst within Germany as time passed under Nazi rule... I really liked it. Pretty educative! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Good film but the pace is slow, and the picture quality is poor and some of the dubbing is poor. Although it is an English film with English actors in the roles of Germans, it goes horribly astray at times. Good insight how into how if people stand by and do nothing how people at times get away with unspeakable atrocities Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
