09/29/2022 One of the last cool movies of the magnificent Bebel! Shooting in American caper style. Very brightens up the film, then still young Kim Cattrall ... See more @MilloTPue 02/26/2022 Between 2.5 and 3 stars. It loses strength as it goes, even although Belmond and his vis comica save most of the movie. See more 04/11/2011 Mindless, silly but well made and funny French comedy starring their superstar Jean-Paul Belmondo. See more 10/15/2009 Belmondo is witty (and clownish) as ever in this movie from the mid-eighties. It contains all the basic ingredients of a caper movie (several people working together, hostages, police officials surrounding the building, snipers, negotiations between robbers and police, pizza delivery, getaway transportation, etc., etc.), albeit in a hilarious context (robbers in fancy dress, fake menaces, robber getting on negotiator's nerves, pizza being drugged, getaway in yet another costume, etc., etc.). The first half of the movie is certainly smashing, but unfortunately it gets more tame in the second half. True, the Lasky character and the taxi driver are funny additions, but they are not as hilarious as Belmondo doing his clown act. The inevitable falling out among thieves gets a nice twist at the end, though. See more 08/27/2009 Invraisemblable bouse.
