Monic Kenya M Aug 10 It's a bit cheesy. But the elephant rescue story and the connection between humans and rescues is beautiful as are the wildlife shots. The release of the rescue back into the wild at the end was not realistic under 2 years still lactating they would normally not do that. Unless it's to the own here and mother. It was very good there was awareness at the end of the moving how much elephants we be lost over the last year's. Kristen is an advocate for elephant conservation I really appreciate her for that See more Patrick M Jun 8 I am really a never ending action kind of movie lover. However, I do have a soft side. This is not like a "Serendipity" kind of soft side, which is a movie I own it was so good! This flick has Hallmark written all over it! It was perfect for me in this momentary state of mind of mind. Rob Lowe and Kristen Davis did well, they were really nice. Both have had better showings. African scenery was short in my opinion. And appearance of animals in Africa was minimal. Howerever, there were lots of wonderful Elephants!! And one in particular was a point of focus. If you are a lover of animals, especially these glorious beasts, you will love this movie!! "Holiday in the Wild" feels like a mashup of Hallmark sentimentality with a dash of cheesy humor, reminiscent of low-budget flicks. The plot revolves around him pursuing his love interest, developing a typical back-and-forth dynamic that leads to the same predictable outcome found in countless similar films. While the setting in the wilderness offers a slight twist, the movie ultimately fails to take any real risks or explore creative avenues. It feels flat and lacks substance, almost as if it exists solely to fill a slot for a streaming service. It seems crafted to capitalize on easy viewership rather than to offer something memorable.
