Audience Member I sometimes wonder at what point "oh c'mon, it's a B movie" excuse should stop working. Hollywood Wives: The New Generation is just a bad pointless film, where everybody starts out rather unhappy yet ignorant of their state of unhappiness, then go and make some rather obvious choices, which turn out to be 100% right, then supporting characters get lucky (because there's no time to develop them to the point where it would make sense to get them making the obvious choices that the main characters get to make), and we leave everybody -- literally, everybody, with an exception of a wife-beating cheat and a psychotic kidnapper -- happily embarking on a transformed way of life.
