If you want to spend 2 hours watching a grown man act like a little b****, go for it. All things considered this may be the corniest 2025 Netflix release thus far. Writing: 2.6/10 Acting 4.5/10 Cinematography: 5.6/10

Started off a bit dull but then it starts to pick up after arriving at beautiful Mauritius. A nice "rom-com" but between a mother and her son, light but meaningful, a feel good movie.

This is the funniest movie of the year so far! The situations are so hilarious and the two main stars have absolute perfect comic timing. Having to read the English subtitles doesn't make it any less enjoyable. It is also a really sweet story about family relationships. If you want something different that will make you laugh and warm your heart, this movie is it.

Here's the scoop...Negative reviews are focusing on the wrong aspects. Yes, this is a foreign film but a wonderful storyline, albeit slow at the beginning. Not a riot laugh-out, but becomes more comical as it progresses. Granted, at the beginning, we'd pause after a comedic scene and say: "Wouldn't it have been a laugh riot if they said this instead..." But there's a reason it was top 10 in 70 countries. It has wide appeal and for a reason. Watch until the end!

Absolutely brilliant!! The casting is fantastic, the humour is outstanding and I have not watched anything more enjoyable in a long time. Highly recommended plus if you are a Mum with a 20something son you will totally adore this movie. Enjoy watching
