Neil Genzlinger New York Times The brave thing is how Goran Paskaljevic, the director and (with Genc Permeti) writer, chooses to end the film: short of either a happy ending or a tragic one, in the same sort of limbo that this part of the world seems to inhabit perpetually. Rated: 4/5 Sep 9, 2010 Full Review Joshua Rothkopf Time Out Family doesn't seem to be much of a salve in Goran Paskaljevic's tragic, humane border drama -- and woe be to those bumping up against the deep-seated cultural clash between Serbia and Albania. Rated: 4/5 Sep 8, 2010 Full Review John P. McCarthy Boxoffice Magazine You don't want Honeymoons to be over quite so soon, but you know it must end at some point. Audience Member Saw this as part of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival. Using the backdrop of traditional wedding festivities in Serbia and Albania this film explores the issues relating to migration in Europe. I was slightly disappointed because I felt the film didn't expound on those issues enough and instead spent too much time on the wedding scenes..
