Kimi M This movie was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend watching it. Angourie Rice is such a good actress in this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Ben Good movie, loved the twist and i think the actors did a good good. pretty good comedy/drama. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Steve D It pulls some of its punches but is fun and its lead looks like a future star. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/24 Full Review Dawood A Touched me emotionally. But that gay part was out of context and shouldn't have been added Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/06/23 Full Review Cork B Oh man this movie does some stuff really well and some other stuff really poorly. On the plus side, the main character undergoes and extremely well defined character arc from a thoroughly unlikeable, self absorbed, manipulative, 4th wall breaking Ferris Bueller to a sensitive, thoughtful, giving person. Actually it was a bit too much. Too many plot points, including the 3rd act's twist, had to fall in to place to make this believable. They should have maybe toned that down, although admittedly the transformation is what maybe sets this movie aside. Some of the supporting character's storylines like Kennedy and the LaCrosse guy, were interesting, but other subplots were just painful to watch (Red Mist, Michael). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/08/23 Full Review Ryan slow start but fun overall and made sense at the end Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tomris Laffly Variety ... A surprisingly compelling high school caper conceived with youthful wit, aplomb and a genuinely out-of-left-field twist. Aug 1, 2022 Full Review Adrian Horton Guardian The ending chorus of conclusions wraps up a bit too neatly, though that doesn’t invalidate the enjoyably deranged ride before. Rated: 4/5 Jul 29, 2022 Full Review John Anderson Wall Street Journal Reassuringly -- and very entertainingly -- Ms. Rice makes all of Honor’s plotting palatable, even charming, and her jaded worldview is not totally unreasonable. Jul 28, 2022 Full Review Rebecca Johnson Film Focus Online It's not only hilarious and expertly acted but it's charming, fast paced and fresh, it's fourth wall breaks and bittersweet characters adding something unique and rather special to the genre. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 24, 2023 Full Review Tina Kakadelis Beyond the Cinerama Dome Rice stole scenes from actors whose careers began before she was born in The Nice Guys. It won’t be long before Rice is a household name, and this fourth-wall-breaking performance as a teenage Machiavellian coup leader is a tour du force. Jul 24, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies A high school coming-of-age comedy wedged right between freshly original and disappointingly conventional.
