HONOR SOCIETY follows Honor (Angourie Rice), an ambitious high school senior whose sole focus is getting into Harvard, assuming she can first score the coveted recommendation from her guidance counselor, Mr. Calvin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). Rice stole scenes from actors whose careers began before she was born in The Nice Guys. It won’t be long before Rice is a household name, and this fourth-wall-breaking performance as a teenage Machiavellian coup leader is a tour du force.

If parents out there are watching it will remind you of the John Hughes films of the 1980s. Filled with likable characters of all the high school tropes like the jock, the nerds, the cool kids, the bullied kid, and a teen who is wiser than their age.
