This British caper follows Marcus Pendleton (Peter Ustinov), a con man just out of prison. After assuming the identity of a computer whiz, Pendleton lands a corporate job and starts smuggling money into fake companies he has set up throughout Europe. Meanwhile, Pendleton has fallen for the secretary, Patty (Maggie Smith). When he finds out Patty is pregnant, he escapes with her to Rio. Unfortunately, Pendleton's scheme has been uncovered, and his boss is hot on his trail.

Hot Millions is a feel good film which, set in the swinging 60's, is a masterclass in good acting. No CGI or special effects just gentle humour set around a good script. All actors involved play their parts with aplomb. Liz Smith and Peter Ustinov are quite literally delightful in their roles and have you sympathising and cheering for them from the off. I only wish there were more like this made today!

Hot Millions is an excellent film. It is about paroled London fraudster Marcus Pendleton who poses as a computer specialist. Peter Ustinov and Maggie Smith give fantastic performances. The script is pretty good but a little slow in places. Eric Till did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the humor. Hot Millions is a must see.
