Juvenal S One of my favorite comedy from when comedy was funny and no one would trash you for likening it enjoy a stupid comedy and laugh Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/28/23 Full Review Aaron C Nostalgia rating! Another John Candy gem Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/23 Full Review Audience Member An enjoyable watch and fun gags! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my all time favourite horse movies; it’s silly, but a lot of fun! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/23/19 Full Review Audience Member Though this film has been poorly reviewed by critics in general, i believe that this film is better received by kids. Bobcat's schtick, and john candy's humor were popular in the 80s for a reason. Much the same way Jim Carrey's humor works. Verbal/physical comedy. It is a good movie for kids. It's cheesy in a way that kids can enjoy. Adults may not enjoy the humor as much, but I wouldn't say that it's their kind of film. I would strongly recommend this film for kids interested in comedy. For fans of Bobcat and fans of John Candy. If they like Spaceballs and/or Police Academy, it's a fun film. It's a campy, cheesy, fun film. Silly in a good way. Michael Wilmington Los Angeles Times Hot to Trot is a movie to make ninnies whinny, audiences gag and horses hide their heads. Apr 21, 2015 Full Review Dave Kehr Chicago Tribune It`s true that there has been a shocking dearth of talking-horse pictures lately, but even so, Hot to Trot has few pleasures to offer. Rated: 1/4 Apr 21, 2015 Full Review Carrie Rickey Philadelphia Inquirer The humor is so low that it could justifiably be called subterranean. Rated: 1/4 Apr 21, 2015 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews A justifiably notorious bomb... Rated: .5/4 Mar 14, 2016 Full Review TV Guide The old talking-animal routine gets a bit of an update in that this time the animal is vulgar and profane in a way Mr. Ed or Francis the Talking Mule would never have been. But that's about the extent of the inventiveness in this unfunny comedy. Rated: 1/5 Apr 21, 2015 Full Review Ben Yagoda Philadelphia Daily News [Hot to Trot] sounded truly awful. It turned out to be worse. Rated: 1/4 Apr 21, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews
