Audience Member It was a delightful French rom-com. Sure there are mix-ups, but they're sweet. Our heroine is a beauty, and our hero....well we can't say anything about him. You'll have to wait to see who he is! We really enjoyed....and yes, we are Francophiles! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Daniel M. Gold New York Times Despite its nods to convention, this fairy tale has little artifice: like Alice, it's a Gallic product that's stylish, not slick. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 26, 2013 Full Review Nick Schager Village Voice There isn't a moment in Htel Normandy that isn't painfully contrived, yet, worse still, its mix-ups boast all the inspiration and excitement of a weekend getaway at the local mall. Sep 24, 2013 Full Review Bill Weber Slant Magazine Another well-upholstered but cheap exercise in luxe pandering that fails as romantic farce. Rated: 1/4 Sep 23, 2013 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International Yes, it's a total clich, but how kind of wonderful that the French are upholding this sort of corny but sweetly human traditional stuff even in the new millennium. Oct 14, 2013 Full Review William Goss The Dissolve Jean-Paul Bathany and Stphane Ben Lahcene's screenplay briskly sets up its game of musical chairs, but then lets its characters wander about the seaside town at a reliably mild velocity.
