While at its heart a standard PBS-style documentary, the film ends up being an extraordinary standout achievement when viewed in a state of the art IMAX theatre. Go to Full Review

See Hubble 3D: IMAX if you get the opportunity. Take the children. It's a beautiful film, and it somehow makes the cosmos seem both accessible and heavenly. You'll definitely learn a few things, and you'll gain a new appreciation for our space program. Go to Full Review

07/28/2021 One of the best of the shorter IMAX 3D featurettes, an informative and often very beautiful portrait of the several Shuttle missions sent to repair the Hubble Telescope. The launch and spacewalk sequences are as stunning as one would expect, but it's the lingering 3D renderings of Hubble's captures of distant nebula and star clouds that make you gasp. Leonardo DiCaprio is an excellent narrator. See more 08/17/2019 While some of the story-telling feels rushed and condensed, the cinematography is ethereal. Realizing the magnitude of accomplishment that Hubble is and witnessing the incredible feat of skill and perseverance that these astronauts successfully completed was a truly humbling experience.
