Andrea W Spectacular. Eco-horror with dark humour and great choice of soundtrack throughout. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Leon M Its alright for the 1st half than takes a serious nose dive when their suspense builds up. My biggest gripe with this film is the ending, you know those movies where everything is doomed and theres no saving it? Yeah thats this movie except they fast forward with NO EXPLANATION and somehow everything is a'ok. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Walter J A very poor work of fiction Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review Lori B I enjoyed this movie. It started out slow but picked up. It wasn't all slice and dice like most horror movies are today, it actually made sense. It had some blood, not to much on the jump scares but had a great concept of how $ and the thought of death can destroy a family. One of the better ones I've seen this year Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review Dead by B Caitlin Cronenberg does a decent job directing Humane considering it's her first time as a director, but the movie isn't as near as perfect. The flow of the movie is surprisingly good, but there's quite a few plot holes, the acting is very inconsistent throughout the view and the character development isn't as cured as I wish i would Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review D. A Interesting premise, but could have moved a little bit better. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Owen Gleiberman Variety Cronenberg treats the mansion as an enormous stage set, turning “Humane” into a kind of psychodramatic slasher movie. Apr 29, 2024 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times There are some delightfully squeamish scenes — but this is primarily a psychological thriller, an update/variation on The Fall of the House of Usher... Rated: 3/4 Apr 27, 2024 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com Cronenberg eventually gets a little fun with close-ups of the bloody stuff, but the bulk of this film is surprisingly flat and poorly lit. Rated: 2/4 Apr 26, 2024 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film A polished, handsomely produced piece of work delivered with real confidence. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 29, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media A dystopian sci-fi story, a darkly comic skewering of American capitalism and greed, and a gory horror tale, this bloody movie doesn't always achieve a satisfying balance, but it's never boring. Rated: 3/5 Apr 29, 2024 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Heavy-handed thriller. Rated: C+ Apr 28, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews
