Sasha is a young vampire with a serious problem: she's too sensitive to kill! When her exasperated parents cut off her blood supply, Sasha's life is in jeopardy. Wonderful and a breath of fresh air! It’s a wonderful “coming-of-age dark comedy vampire horror” film. Thoroughly enjoyed it and loved that the relationship between the two protagonists feels romantically platonic and it being kept that way adds to its charm. The cinematography of it is amazing, the set design is cool, the characters are fleshed out, and it’s hilarious without trying too hard or being pretentious.

I appreciate the unique idea on a generically one dimensional thought when it comes to vampire content. it also provided a plot that you're unsure where it will end up, and it came together nicely. It touches on a lot of moral topics, but I'm unsure how deep it actually gets into any of them. Although it is categorized as a teenager, vampire, romance type of movie, I would consider it a dark comedy with a touch of heartfeltness. I have already recommended it to a few friends.

Extremely stylish and well-shot, hitting just the right atmosphere for a film like this, Humanist Vampire is much more than just a 'vampire themed teen romance'. In fact, it's not all that vampire themed, and not all that romantic. But it's all the more memorable for it. The ending is slightly disappointing for its Hollywoodism, but that can't put a damper on things.
