Odie Henderson Boston Globe It’s been a long time since I was this clueless about what was going to happen next in a film; the feeling was exhilarating. Rated: 4/4 Aug 30, 2024 Full Review Mark Kermode Kermode and Mayo's Take (YouTube) It's genuinely quite bananas and it's genuinely quite funny. Aug 15, 2024 Full Review Matt Zoller Seitz RogerEbert.com Exceeds expectations in every way, including the promise of its title. Rated: 4/4 Aug 2, 2024 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider Hundreds of Beavers is a fun feat of filmmaking that feels superficially like a lark but is also happily deeper than that. You know, like a hole in the ice obscured by snow. Oct 16, 2024 Full Review Lisa Laman Culturess Hundreds of Beavers, meanwhile, is a shining beacon of how to tip your hat to yesteryear while making something incredibly fresh. Oct 8, 2024 Full Review Kevin Wight The Wee Review Every moment is lovingly crafted, every joke is precise. Rarely since the early days of cinema worshipped by Cheslik and Tews has such love, care, and attention gone into such preposterous buffoonery. Rated: 4 Sep 4, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

2 Amazing! Buster Keaton meets Looney Toons meets Cuphead meets Dead Man Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/18/24 Full Review David In such serious times, such inventive, absorbing silliness is welcome. It took us completely away to a different world with its own (humorous) logic and a plot that didn't require a single word of dialogue. Wonderful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review Tom Original and genius. Loved it!!! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Matt C This movie was really fun to watch, very unique, interesting, and funny! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/24 Full Review Early W A genuinely funny film from start to finish. It harkins on the days of silent films and the Charlie Chaplin (or maybe more accurately Three Stooges) style of slapstick comedy. The gags and visual humor reminded me of the old Merry Melodies-Bugs Bunny cartoons I watched as a kid. It's not a movie that relies too heavily on gross out humor (although there are a few moments) and an abundance of "F bombs" unlike so many comedies do these days. I would say it is family-friendly if not for some rather violent moments, some innuendo and one scene involving a stripper pole. Either way, a funny film that pays respectful homage to an era of comedy and filmmaking that has long past. Worth the watch! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Mikey F Funniest comedy I have seen in decades. Brilliant blend of clever humor and effects. Roughy as safe for the family as the average Tex Avery cartoon, and aimed at the adults who enjoy them. This is like if you took the writing from the best seasons of SpongeBob, combined them with the best gags from 30s-50s Hollywood cinema cartoons, and packaged that in a blend of Gen-Z & Silent Film comedy tropes. The result is one of the most unique, side-splitting, crowd pleasing, screwball films ever made. Easily one of my top 10 favorite comedies of all time, up there with Mel Brooks, the Marx Bros, and Monty Python. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/08/24 Full Review Read all reviews
