Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times A strange, harrowing, often remarkable story of love and obsession. Jun 12, 2015 Full Review Bilge Ebiri New York Magazine/Vulture Hungry Hearts is a troubled, troubling movie. The unrest it creates looms long after the end credits have rolled. Jun 5, 2015 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com A better name for this movie would maybe be "The Ghastly Ones." Rated: 1/4 Jun 5, 2015 Full Review Tom Bond One Room With A View The momentum of the character arcs drags at one or two key moments, but this is a remarkably even-handed and tense portrayal of a family caught between love and logic. Rated: 4/5 May 31, 2019 Full Review James Clay Fresh Fiction This head-scratcher will forever remain an enigma, or just be forgotten by dinner time. Rated: C Mar 1, 2019 Full Review Kaori Shoji Japan Times Hungry Hearts draws superb performances from both Driver and Rohrwacher, though the latter is burdened with becoming increasingly hateful as the story progresses. Audience Member Horribly directed and horribly acted. The plot makes no sense, there is no character development whatsoever, it looks like a TV movie from the 80's (and not even a watchable one), the music sucks and the ending is cringy as fuck. What a waste of time, not only for me who wasted two hours to watch it, but also for whomever participated in the creation of this embarrassing "movie". Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Engaging, but not necessarily to the point where I would call it a thriller, this movie kept me guessing what was going to happen next. And I was happy to be wrong. Wonderful acting, again, all around, but I truly do love all of Adam Driver's performances. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/16/20 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely amazing movie. It had me gasping out loud and really fearing for the baby's safety. Adam Driver's acting is absolutely amazing in this. It had me bawling my eyes out by the end of it and I have no idea why. It really shows how a unstable marriage can spiral out of control. Frick holistic medicine practices. Go to your doctor Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I personally really enjoyed the film but it was mainly because of Adam Driver. I'm a huge fan of his work and as I've said in many reviews, he never fails to portray the raw emotions. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review farah r The most boring, poorly acted drama I've ever seen. Couldn't finish it. It's that bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This film is very powerful. Great acting! from both protagonits. Adam Driver is one of the best millenial actors out there!
