kate t Well done TV movie based on true crimes of serial killer Richard Ramirez. I didn't know anything about this, not that I can remember. Story focuses largely on the police hunt for him. Moves along well enough to be interesting and worth watching. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Fact-based account of the police investigation for the Night Stalker, who terrorized LA in the heat wave summer of 1985. Wisely spares the gore and crimes by focusing on the police investigators. I was a little disappointed Ramirez' AC/DC cap didn't figure into the film. I would also recommend A&E's American Justice episode on this case; which covers the trial as well with the incredible incidents of Ramirez receiving fan mail and even marrying one admirer.
