Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle It's a hodgepodge of wildly divergent narrative styles, from the mystical to the grisly and into the ridiculous. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 29, 2021 Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News Here's one for the artsy crowd that loves a good scare - a moody takeoff of the Little Red Riding Hood fable that will give you night sweats. Rated: 3/4 Jan 21, 2021 Full Review Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting Paronnaud offers an exhilarating survival thriller full of gorgeous fairy tale flourishes without adding to the conversation. The ferocity of its messaging doesn't match that of its heroine. Rated: 3/5 Jan 14, 2021 Full Review Paul Lê Nightmare on Film Street The story at its most basic is frightful, and its potency rests in the beginning of the film. Where it steers off course is in the remaining two acts whose zaniness will assuredly divide viewers. Rated: 8/10 Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Steven Warner In Review Online Perhaps more would be forgiven if Paronnaud had delivered on the terror front, but aside from a few moments of body horror, there isn't much to sustain the average genre fan. Jun 5, 2021 Full Review Dan Stubbs NME (New Musical Express) Tip for directors: if you're for some reason compelled to add to the rape revenge subgenre, do make sure you have something to say on the subject first. David L Pretty good movie. Got a little silly in a couple parts (paintball?) but overall it was entertaining. I have never heard of Arieh Worthalter (he’s the villain) but holy crap! He was mesmerizing to watch. He nailed the psychopathic serial killer character. He was creepy to watch and stole the show, in my opinion. Without him this move wouldn’t have been very good. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/04/24 Full Review ken k Lucie Debays characters transformation from victim to a crazed fury seeking revenge is a joy to watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Thrilling and tense game of cat and mouse but nothing particularly new or memorable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member "listen dude, I'm trained." LOL. & when i tell you i cackled when the paintballers came through, i mean... i CACKLED. lol. this actually wasn't terrible, but it's not an original idea & it's been done much better by others. i don't think i would recommend it, but if you don't have anything better to do, you could watch worse things. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was pretty good "revenge " film. It was a bit artsy in places and didn't tie up the loose ends necessarily but overall I liked it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Intense… weird… Modern day Grimm fairytale Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/06/22 Full Review Read all reviews
