Once all this starts coming together, Hunter Killer is absorbing, even if Marsh and his screenwriters never pretend to be half as interested in their characters as they are in the submarines.

Oldman is over the top. Generally liked it. Toby Stephen’s keeps saying things “could get ugly” over and over. Tighter writing would have made it better. Last scene a little ridiculous.

This is a DVD I have had for years. Not even sure how I got it. It just sat there collecting dust. I knew nothing about the movie. I chose to watch it tonight and was very entertained. Really cool movie. Not one lull. Always moving!

Its ok. If you are not a fan of knowing how subs work and just focus on this movie as a movie to chill, its ok. Pretty ok effects, especially the C-RAM

Hunter Killer jumps straight into action with little time for character development, which can be a hit or miss depending on what you're looking for.
