Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times If you can miss only one movie this year, make it I, A Woman. Here is a Swedish film which very nearly restores my faith in the cinema, demonstrating that all the other crummy movies I've had to sit through in this job weren't so bad. james g This opened at about the same time as "I Am Curious Yellow" and like that film, this one played only at drive-ins. And like "Yellow", you can still find this film at some libraries. It's ugly and boring and the nudity doesn't much count, really. But like "Yellow", marketing folks certainly made their salary with this one. And, like "Yellow", this one is interesting only as a study in early 'dirty movies'. Oh, and as a textbook case as to how to market a bad film.
