Very irritating but had to watch what happened in the end...my ending would be that she stopped at the store for baby formula FIRST then hit the friggin' highway outta that town..take Christian with her..she moves to another country..put Christian in rehab and they all live happily ever after..Instant FAM!!

Strange film. Strange people. Rather experimental film about a woman, a bit insane but rich and in high position, wanting a baby. She tries in different ways and it all fails. Only a miracle could do it and that is what happens. Maybe it is some sort of fairy tale for post-menopausal women. Some events in the film may have happen in real life, and that is sure sad.

You'd be best ignoring the reviews of these misguided critics who are more content watching the latest Star Wars... This is one of Kim's best works; it's the story of a a woman terrorized by her own maternal drive, artfully framed by beautiful composition and immersed in a horrifying aesthetic. If you prefer your films thought-provoking and visually stimulating, this is your pick. If you like your cinema like you like your television, you better move along.
