Critics Consensus

A by-the-numbers slasher that arrived a decade too late, the mostly tedious I Know What You Did Last Summer will likely only hook diehard fans of the genre.

Steven Rea Philadelphia Inquirer An enjoyable formulaic fearfest. Daniel A There is no way Freddie and JLH looked at their script and thought, yeah its great!!! The cast i couldn't care less about, the twist that made zero sense it eas just ... bad... The script was awful, there was no memorable kills, ... I'm gutted because I really thought this would he decent. . . What an absolute let down Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/24/25 Full Review Yavanplayz , The new one(2025) was slightly better Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/23/25 Full Review Kleber d Eu tinha em mente que Eu Sei o Que Vocês Fizeram no Verão Passado era um filme medíocre, mas, ao reassistir, percebi que é ainda pior. O desenvolvimento do vilão é outro ponto fraco. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/23/25 Full Review Eye C I remembered this more as a Scream wannabe but know I realize that is a Halloween wannabe, the sad part is the performances are so deficient that is just another stupid teen movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/22/25 Full Review Sedale S A true 90’s movie. I’m so happy that this exists. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/22/25 Full Review Andrew A.
