For a film that trys to tackle such a serious issue, it handles it poorly at best. I found myself thinking the entire experience was filmed by a 15 year old who was trying to get a reaction, not a professional who was trying to make good cinema. The "shock" reaction can only carry so much

It's hard to watch some of the scenes but if it wasn't that way the story arc would make no sense. The film is similar to Hostel. It is relentless and satisfying at an instinctual level. No one will mistake this for Shakespeare.

Better than what I thought it would be but utterly disgusting violence. To be attacked then find it is in Europe doesn't make sense. The vengeance movie getting back is the only part worth watching.
