Funny at times, but considering the talent and the concept, this should have been better. Eddie Murphy continues a streak, that has been dominated by misses and shows his eagerness to take on sub par roles. Owen Wilson was attempting to launch his role status and this appeared like a slam dunk on paper, but throwing together talent doesn't result in box office glory. Odd filmmaker choice for the concept and a poorly developed plot, result in a par film, that underdelivers. 15/09/2019

Another cheap American spy comedy that's not funny, Has poor action scenes and a plot that's been done before too many times, Eddie Murphy and Owen Wilson do well working off each other but it's only Eddie that makes this film just about watchable.

Eddie Murphy delivers the performance that we have all grown to love him for, with smart talking and ranting throughout the entire film. Though I have had very little contact with the series that this film was based on, alone, this film stands strong as an outrageous buddy comedy.

More another worthless picture by Betty Thomas and Eddie Murphy.
