Tom W Wow. This movie moves as fast as a slap shot. I am enjoying it, as I did "Goon". When I was 16 I used to drive down to New Haven to see the minor league New Haven Blades play at the old New Haven Arena (demolished in 1974). My favorite player was Defenseman Ray Crew, from Ontario. I looked him up & he is as big as a remember him: 6'3" & 210. Coached Sheehan HS team for many years. Died in Wallingford in 2017. He was my favorite player. Because of his size, it seems only natural that I remember his as being a bit of an enforcer (or guardian) before that was a thing. I agree the role is a necessary one. I'm not a big fan of fighting, but I can't stand cheap shots. they cry out for retribution. - Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review n c As someone with no previous experience or interest in hockey I can thoroughly recommend this documentary as it is highly interesting and kept me captivated throughout. The final interview shot is awesome! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This hockey documentary was very good. The entire crew did an excellent job in making this great documentary about the enforcers of the game. It gives an inside look of what these particular hockey players do for their teams and how it helps them win. It's very interesting and entertaining. If you're a hockey fan or not, you'll enjoy this documentary no matter what. It's worth it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A documentary from the enforcer's point of view in fighting in hockey. A pretty misguided film that defends a bygone era of hockey. Basically just a bunch of enforcers and fighting fans sitting around and talking about how fighting hockey is important and that concussions come from other hits and not fighting. Crazy amounts of denial. I'm a big hockey fan and this documentary caught my eye. Wish I had kept scrolling. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary and a great insight in the world of Enforcer Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Great insight on the practically discontinued role of the “enforcer” in the NHL. Showed both pros and cons on fighting and established the actual danger currently in the game. #GoStars Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
